We started as acquaintances that discovered a common connection in the exciting game of Mahjong. As we tried to cultivate a community around the game, we found that some people were afraid to try something unknown and we wanted to break thru that barrier. A passion was seeded for opening up the doors to new connections for individuals through the game of Mahjong. We have become friends now & forever!!

About the Game of Mahjong
Origins of the Game
Mahjong is a tile-based game that originated in China during the Qing Dynasty, most likely in the mid-to-late 1800s. While its exact origins are debated, historians believe it evolved from earlier Chinese card and tile games played along the Yangtze River region.
Mahjong arrives in the U.S.
Mahjong grew in rapidly in popularity across China in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In the 1920s, Mahjong was introduced to the United States and Europe, where it became a cultural phenomenon.
Mahjong Today
Today, Mahjong is played worldwide as both a social and competitive game. It combines elements of strategy, skill, memory, and chance, and remains especially popular throughout East Asia and amount Mahjong communities around the globe.
